- Fundacja Nasze Dzieci<\/a> (translation: Our Children Foundation), which similarly to the Foundation for Rescue supports children and parents who are treated in the oncology ward of the Children\u2019s Health Centre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The money that has been transferred to Anto\u015b\u2019s account (created in the Foundation for the Rescue of Children with Cancer<\/a>) will be used for statutory purposes by the Foundation for the Rescue of Children with Cancer, in accordance with its regulations<\/a> (in polish: Regulamin Kont Imiennych \u2014 translation: Rules of Registered Accounts).<\/p>\n
2. Donation of blood<\/strong> indicating the clinics treating children with cancer, such as Przyladek Nadziei<\/a> (translation: Cape Hope) or Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka<\/a> (translation: Children\u2019s Health Center)<\/p>\n
Blood is always needed for children undergoing chemotherapy (all blood groups)<\/strong> as their bone marrow needs to regenerate, and during this process is unable to catch up. Therefore blood transfusions are frequent.<\/p>\n
Advice from own experience: drink a lot of water and\/or juices in the morning, and before entering the blood collection for tests drink another 2 cups of water (distributors are available at the RCKIK<\/span> headquarters in Wroclaw) \u2014 then there is adequate pressure and 450 ml of whole blood goes down within 5 minutes. 3. Participation in the collection of hair for wigs for children with cancer<\/strong> \u2014 actions such as W\u0142osem w Raka<\/a> (translation: Hair in Cancer)<\/p>\n
